“TABULA RASA” by No More Lies

For its fourth exhibition, Oktowallz hosts one of Istanbul’s most influential street artists, No More Lies. The show, titled “Tabula Rasa”, will be on view from September 26 to October 17, 2025, at Oktowallz’s temporary space in the 5th Block of İMÇ.

For the past 15 years, No More Lies has left his mark on the streets with animal stencils and stamp series. Now, he brings his entire street journey together in a retrospective show titled “Tabula Rasa.”

Bringing together works from 2010 to today—from Istanbul to Europe and the US—Tabula Rasa showcases the artist’s paste-ups, stickers, stencils, and freehand pieces from different periods. The exhibition also features hand-cut stencils, animal sketches, drawings, prints, and three-dimensional toy interpretations.

Explaining why he chose the title Tabula Rasa, No More Lies says:
“Throughout my life, I’ve always opened a new page and written a new text. I spent most of my life in corporate business, then after the pandemic, I lived three or four years solely for street art. Later, I found myself back in corporate again. After a year away, I’m once more on the street art scene. With this show, I’m bringing together everything I’ve produced over the past fifteen years. For me, Tabula Rasa is a new zero point. I’m opening a new page.”

In parallel with this exhibition, the artist is moving into a new field of production at Keter Studio in Hemşin, working with young artists Beste İleri, Toprak Fırat, and Yasin Arıbuga. Combining digital approaches with diverse materials, Tabula Rasa looks back while also pointing to the future, marking the threshold of this transformation.
